The year 1881 the town Regret Arizona a bustling little boom
town.
SCENE#2 INSIDE SALOON
FADE IN.
In a saloon 6-8 cowboys at the bar and at table play poker.
Couple of crib girls at the bar with cowboys drinking,
laughing Piano playing in the corner, in the center is the
poker table. One of the players is Franklin Wade,who is the
local cowboy and hired gun,sitting at the table two other
cowboys, as they play Franklin keeps loosing and he drinking
more and getting madder.Sitting at the table three other
cowboys, CRIB GIRL hanging on one of the cowboys,JED,as they
play poker FRANK keeps losing and he’s drinking more and
getting madder. FRANK has lost most of his money.
FRANK
YOU HAVE BEEN CHEATING ME!!.
PAN OVER TO BARTENDER
BARTENDER pulls out a shotgun from under the bar points at
the men.
BARTENDER
Take it outside boys.
FRANK’S partner BILL starts to grabs FRANK
BILL
Come on frank your drunk, we don’t
need anymore trouble.
All the while FRANK is calling out JED
FRANK
Come on out you snake in the grass,
you cheat, you cardsharp. I want my
money back.
FRANK stumbles out the door unto the street.
BILL
Don’t fret none I will take care of
him, he’s just drunk.
BILL walks out on the street toward FRANK.
Come on out Jed I’m going to kill
you for cheating me. I want my
money back. Come on out you coward.
JED has moved to the saloon door to watch.
FRANK out on the street not saying a word.
BILL is trying to move FRANK off the street but FRANK starts
to pull his gun.
CUT OUT.
SCENE EXT- OUTSIDE SALOON
CUT IN.
BILL
Damn it Frank you’re drunk, he
didn’t cheat you put the gun down.
BILL gets real close to FRANK pushing him back.
FRANK raises his gun between bills body and arm and shoots
one time. JED starts to walk out the door, the CRIB GIRL
grabs his arm.
CRIB GIRL
No don’t he’s going to kill you.
JED
Don’t think so. He’s drunk
JED walks out to the middle of the street.
FRANK sees him, BILL is trying to push FRANK back. FRANK is
now starting to fight back.
BILL
Come on your drunk. We don’t need
this kind of trouble.
FRANK
Get out of my way, I’m going to
kill him for cheating me.
FRANK pushes BILL out of the way,just as the CRIB GIRL runs
to the middle of the street she yells.
CRIB GIRL
No!!! Please don’t do this!!!
FRANK then fires a single shot
